President Obama addressed the American people this evening at the Democratic National Convention, if you missed it you can catch it right here.
Obama captivated audiences with his usual charisma and steady voice while he explained the many issues of this next election.
On each issue the two candidates stand at different paths. The American people will choice the path they go down, via the man they elect come November. At the end of the path is the future. A future Obama ensures his people can still be bright.
He touches upon his presidency thus far and reflects on accomplishments and further goals, explaining the position of the country when he took office and what has changed after one term.
“You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth. And the truth is, it will take more than a few years for us to solve challenges that have built up over decades.”
He goes on about taxes, the economy, citizenship and other hot-button topics that will run 2012’s elections.
